A Special Presentation of the Algae Biomass Summit


On the final day of the 2018 Algae Biomass Summit, the Algae Biomass Organization and the Center for Carbon Removal will present New Carbon Economy Day, a full day of presentations on cutting-edge research results, the latest in commercial developments, and a series of conversations about applications of algae in carbon capture, manufacturing and energy.


First-time attendees that work in carbon or energy professions are eligible for discounted passes to the Summit (and the tour!) that will provide access to discussions about advances in the use of algae for the production of advanced biofuels and biomaterials, and the use of algae for carbon capture, use and storage (CCUS).


With support from the Department of Energy, algae-based systems for CO2 mitigation are operating at power plants and manufacturing facilities in the U.S., Canada and around the world. Plenary Panel: CarbonTech and the New Carbon Economy

The New Carbon Economy consumes carbon emissions as a resource while reducing the carbon footprint of industries large and small.  This panel will discuss various aspects of the New Carbon Economy, including research, commercialization, investment, deployment, and policy. Mark Allen, Accelergy Corporation, will moderate with distinguished panelists from across the New Carbon Economy.
